removals
Why was “x” VPN removed from the tier list?
VPNs are subject to removal if they do not
adhere to the affiliate guidelines.
Removals from the VPN Tier List:
TorGuard: TorGuard VPN, a long time front runner of the channel, blocked us sometime in July 2024 on social media, and suspended affiliate accounts without warning or any explanation, ending a near decade long partnership and an entire month’s worth of affiliate payouts. Here is my video on the incident. My theory is that the team was not happy with their ranking slipping and decided to punish me (and honest reviews). I have also heard from numerous other supporters and creators that TorGuard did the same to them, showing it doesn’t care about its community of supporters. On August 2024, TorGuard allegedly began promoting what I believe is a proxy agent that uses AI to defame and harass me and slander me, as well as other VPN projects that rank high on my tier list, and my community took notice. All criticism of this proxy agent is removed, and harassment towards me is encouraged, as seen here, and here. TorGuard promotes this proxy agent on their social media, as seen here, and this rogue agent seems intent on promoting TorGuard despite claiming no affiliation. Any opposition posted on their subreddit is removed.
Windscribe: Windscribe has been removed from our recommendations due to their involvement in harassing and inciting harassment against this channel for 8 years. They have actively engaged in a campaign of intimidation and bullying, targeting our platform and attempting to undermine our credibility. Upon investigating their official Discord server, we discovered that our channel has been mentioned an astounding 243 times. This level of targeted harassment and bullying is not only unethical but also goes against the core values of respect, professionalism, and integrity that we uphold. As a result, we can no longer recommend or endorse Windscribe's services, regardless of any potential affiliate partnerships we may have had with them in the past.
IVPN: Similar to Windscribe, IVPN has engaged in harassment and encouraging others to harass our channel on other public channels. They have participated in spreading misinformation and making baseless accusations in an attempt to discredit our work. This behavior is unacceptable and does not align with our standards of integrity and fairness. Consequently, IVPN has been removed from our tier list and is no longer recommended. We will not tolerate any form of harassment or attempts to compromise our independence.
WeVPN: WeVPN has been removed from the list as the company has unfortunately closed down. As they are no longer operating, we cannot include them in our recommendations.
AtlasVPN: AtlasVPN has also ceased operations, migrated customers to NordVPN, and is no longer available. Therefore, they have been removed from our tier list.
Please note that these removals are based on the actions and status of the respective VPN providers. We strive to maintain a tier list that reflects reliable, trustworthy, and ethical VPN services. Our recommendations are subject to change as we continually assess the performance and conduct of VPN providers in the industry.
